About the Accelerated Criminal Justice Program

The UCCS College of Public Service (CPS) offers a distinctive program called the Criminal Justice Accelerated Master's Program (AMP). This program enables exceptionally qualified undergraduate students to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminal Justice and a Master of Criminal Justice (MCJ) simultaneously.

By participating in the Criminal Justice AMP, students can obtain a solid background in criminology and criminal justice research, giving them a head start in pursuing a career in this field.

Focus of Study

The Criminal Justice AMP is designed to help students complete both degrees in an accelerated time frame by allowing them to count up to 9 credit hours of eligible graduate-level criminal justice courses toward both degrees.
