About the Department

The Master of Public Administration program at UCCS prepares students to take leadership roles in the public and nonprofit sectors.
The UCCS MPA program is the only program in the Pikes Peak Region accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).
Undergraduate Programs
Political Science (BA) to MPA, Accelerated Master's Program
The BA in Political Science to MPA Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP) is an opportunity for currently enrolled UCCS Political Science majors to earn their graduate degrees in an expedited timeframe. The primary benefit of the AMP is it allows qualified and admitted students to count up to 9 credit hours toward both their undergraduate and their graduate degrees.

The Master of Public Administration program provides graduate professional education and prepares students to take leadership roles in the public and nonprofit sectors.
Dual Master in Public Administration & Criminal Justice
The Dual Master of Public Administration & Master of Criminal Justice program equips graduate students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in a number of public service or criminal justice settings.
Dual Master of Public Administration & Master of Arts in Sociology
The Dual Master of Public Administration & Master of Arts in Sociology program provides graduates with a strong foundation to advance public service, work collaboratively to meet social challenges, and better understand key social phenomena using multiple lenses.
