Jean retired from the City of Colorado Springs in 2019 where she served as the Program Director for the city’s Community Advancing Public Safety (CAPS) volunteer program.  The CAPS program also housed the UCCS criminal justice intern program, through its relationship with the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Jean and her husband moved to Colorado in 2010. Jean also actively volunteers with Honor Flight of Southern Colorado, Salvation Army Bell Ringers, 100+ Women Who Care – Monument Chapter, her local HOA Board and in a variety of other community and parish activities.  Her family including four grandchildren live nearby.
