Monica Sedillo

Monica Sedillo joined the College of Public Service at UCCS in March 2026 as the Human Resources Principal Professional, while continuing her work with the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences, where she has served since January 2019.

Monica supports human resources operations for both colleges by:

• Coordinating recruitment and onboarding for faculty, staff, and student employees
• Managing faculty contracts, promotions, reappointments, and tenure processes
• Overseeing student employee hiring and performance reviews
• Administering payroll and leave programs
• Advising faculty, staff, and supervisors on HR policies and procedures
• Supporting college events and website content

Outside of work, Monica enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring local trails, and experimenting with healthy recipes in the kitchen.
