Alondra Gonazalez-Garcia

Alondra Gonzalez-Garcia serves as the Director of Communications and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) for the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC). She has served with the Department since 2015, beginning her career as a Parole Officer in the COlorado Springs area before transitioning into communications and executive leadership. In her current role, Alondra leads CDOC's strategic communications, media relations, crisis communication, internal and external engagement, and DEIB efforts. She holds both a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Criminal Justice from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Drawing on her frontline corrections experience and communications expertise, Alondra is passionate about strengthening trust, building meaningful partnerships, and advancing CDOC's mission through thoughtful leadership and strategic storytelling.
