Originally from Norway but having grown up in Colorado, Chris often says he is a native Coloradan with a Norwegian passport. Chris serves as the Southern Front Range Program Officer for Great Outdoors Colorado also known as GOCO. Additionally, Chris serves as the President of the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education Board, President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Southern Colorado, and is on the Peak Alliance for a Sustainable Future board. Chris was named a 2017 Colorado Springs Business Journal Rising Star, received the Colorado Springs Independent Inclusion Award, and was the Colorado Nonprofit Association's 2019 Emerging Leader of the Year. Chris is dedicated to inspiring future and current fundraisers and nonprofit professionals to continue their work changing the world.
